Q2 2024 Performance of Top Theme Parks Apps on iOS in the US

In Q2 2024, the iOS app landscape for theme parks has shown varying trends in user engagement and downloads. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into these trends for the top theme park apps in the United States.

My Disney Experience by Disney showcased a strong start in April with revenues reaching around $733K, but experienced a noticeable dip towards the end of June, closing at approximately $212K. Downloads and weekly active users followed a stable pattern, with downloads peaking at 184K in mid-April and weekly active users reaching their highest at 255K in late April.

Disneyland® Paris, while not generating revenue, maintained a consistent download rate with a slight decrease from 148K in early April to 130K by late June. Weekly active users showed resilience, starting at 345K and ending the quarter with a slight uptick to 325K.

NBCUniversal Media, LLC's Universal Orlando Resort app also reported no revenue. Downloads hit a high of 129K in late April, with a gradual decline to 106K by the end of June. Its weekly active users saw a peak at 368K in late April before stabilizing around 333K at the quarter's end.

Disney's Disneyland® app exhibited minor revenue with a peak at $13K in early April, but generally remained flat. Downloads reached a high of 83K in mid-June, and weekly active users saw a significant rise from 271K in early June to 344K by mid-June.

Lastly, Universal Studios Hollywood™, another offering from NBCUniversal Media, LLC, also had no revenue to report. Downloads and weekly active users experienced some fluctuations, with downloads peaking at 62K in mid-June and active users increasing to 299K by the quarter's end.
